Kennels - Growth Chart
The Peeps were relatively small at birth, which was a very good thing for their mother. They very quickly began nursing mightily and Mom began eating enormous amounts of food. It was a match made in Heaven!
The following chart shows the birth weights by Peep, followed by weights at certain times in their lives:

The great success story of the litter has been Prissy who had spent all of her ""nursing years"" at half or less of her larger siblings weight. Once we transitioned to gruel and then solid foods, she ate five small meals a day, three with the litter (including a supplemental meal each time) and two separate 'snacks'. She has developed into a beautiful young lady, is no longer the smallest of the Peeps and has gone on to live a new quietly adventurous life.
As the Peeps continue to grow, maturation and genetic differences start to show more and more. At 8 1/2 months, Perri Blue is a beautifully muscled, but little girl at 24"" and 61 pounds. Her brother Buddha, on the other hand, is a much larger dog at 28 1/4"" and 88 - lean - pounds.

Bayete Peter The Great (Buddha) at 8 1/2 months.
